Cape San Blas is a hook of land sticking out from the mainland nestled between Apalachicola and Port St. Joe in Florida.  Voted #1 beach in the U.S. by Dr. Steve Leatherman a.k.a . "Dr. Beach".  There are miles of beautiful sugar white powder sand and beautiful emerald waters on the Gulf side of Cape San Blas, Florida. There are stunning, emerald clear, shallow waters on the Bay side. St. Joe Bay is noted for one of the most fertile scallop beds in the world.  The clear, shallow waters of St. Joseph Bay boast one of the richest breeding grounds for scallops.  So, what was there not to love about vacationing at Cape San Blas? Nothing! We found the place we wanted to have as our home-away-from-home.  After searching for months we kept going back to Barrier Dunes...

Our goal is to provide the most memorable vacation for you and your family.  We have decorated and supplied all our guests with a beach vacation rental that we hope they'll enjoy year after year in hopes of creating an annual family vacation tradition at either Emerald Breeze or Emerald Dolphin.  We look forward to our family guests returning each year creating unforgettable momories. 

EMERALD DOLPHIN: Gulf Front! Enjoy watching dolphins swimming in the beautiful emerald waters of the Gulf from the balcony of this spacious Gulf Front 2 bedroom 2 1/2 bath townhouse of almost 1600 living sq. ft. The first floor is the great room, kitchen and half bath. The great room has a sofa, love seat and chair. Dining has plenty of eating space with table and 6 chairs, along w/ 2 bar stools. There is a comfortable padded window seat to enjoy your favorite book. The kitchen is equipped with all electric appliances, coffee pot, toaster, ice maker, blender and microwave. The second floor has the master bedroom, with king bed, T.V., VCR and private bath. The guest bedroom is also located on the second floor, with a T.V. and private bath. There is also a full sized washer and dryer in the hall of the second floor. The next level is the loft with 4 (four!) twin beds and plenty of space to play games, do puzzles or read.  Pet Friendly...Absolutely NO SMOKING!

EMERALD BREEZE: Pool Side! Enjoy a relaxing vacation in this new Barrier Dunes two bedroom, two bath townhouse located across from the pool and on the pond. All electric kitchen, dishwasher, microwave, washer and dryer, central heat and air, two TV's, two VCR's, one DVD, stereo. The first floor has the kitchen, great room and bedroom with a day bed/trundle that pops into a king bed or two twin beds and a full bath. The great room has a comfortable inner spring sofa sleeper and love seat.  The second floor has the master bedroom with a king bed and full bath. The laundry room is also located upstairs with full-size washer and dryer unit. The master bedroom and great room have spacious balconies overlooking the pond. The guest bedroom's balcony overlooks the pool. This balcony is the one to enjoy the beautiful sunset on Cape San Blas. Our beautiful end unit also has a cozy window seat to relax and enjoy your favorite book. This unit is somewhat childproofed with caps on electric sockets, swing gates at both stairways with vertical slats and locks on some cabinets. A booster seat (3 position adjustable), pack-n-play, 2 beach chairs and 2 boogie boards are supplied for your convenience. A beach cart will be available at the end of March. Absolutely no pets and NO SMOKING!
